When it comes to hatred and speaking evil of one another we need to listen to the words of King Solomon and realize that “Whoever hides hatred has lying lips, And whoever spreads slander is a fool.” and that “Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, But those who deal faithfully are His delight.” As followers of Christ we need to show love to our brothers and sisters in The Lord! Even if we do have an issue with them! We show our love towards them just like Christ showed His love toward us! Welcome back to Victorious Life with Pastor David Crespo! I failed to think before I spoke and many times would end up inserting foot in mouth! As followers of Christ, our words should definitely be used in a manner that gives life and brings no sorrow! They should be loving and helpful to build up and not tear down! Script 350 The NLT Version of 1 John 5:4,5 says, “For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

Paul writes in Ephesians 2:4-5 “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ” (by grace you have been saved).”

Solomon writes in Ecclesiastes 10:12-13,”The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious, But the lips of a fool shall swallow him up; The words of his mouth begin with foolishness, And the end of his talk is raving madness.

Abraham Lincoln once said, “It is better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.”

Hebrews 12:28 reads, “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.

The attitude that one chooses to have towards God will reveal the character that will be seen by others and having a wrong attitude will certainly leave a negative effect!

Proverbs 16:20 says “He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he.” Are you wise?

Are you trusting in The Lord? Are you relying on Jesus for help, or are you relying on yourself? When it comes to making right decisions in life we make them by trusting in The Lord with all our heart and all our mind and all our soul, we seek godly advice when needed and we seek the wisdom that only God can provide through the reading of His word!

How do you communicate with others? Are your words seasoned with salt? Or do they burn like hot pepper?

Ephesians 4, verse 29 says, “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.

”Verse 31 and 32 says, “Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
